Bataan component city is integral scheme of a commercial hub in Central Luzon

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The City Treasury Office remains optimistic that the establishment of six shopping malls here indicates the component city is enthusiastically pursuing an integral scheme of developing a commercial hub in the Western Central Luzon area.
Joselito R. Evangelista, city treasurer, has pointed out that the fourth class component city is capable of surpassing the revenue bracket of P630 million under the 2007 reclassification for second class category with the newest upward trend in commercial business aspect.
He reiterated the City government generates some P220 million yearly revenues from real estate and business taxes, however, aside from productive set –up of Vista Mall Bataan, the foreseeable openings of additional five (5) commercial shopping centers namely Robinson Galeria, Balanga Square, Robinson and SM supermarkets and Walter Mart arcade, the City is estimated to earn P100 million revenues or another 50 % from real estate and business taxes in two years.
Evangelista has mentioned the Balanga Square and Robinson Galeria are scheduled to open this December 2018 for yuletide season event.
While the three other shopping are still preparing their location sites, building plans and programs and other technical and land conversion requirements.
He explained that Metro Manila based locators engaged in the commercial retailing and property leasing development projects have completed exhaustive feasibility studies reflecting the great business potentials of Balanga City which serves as a catch basin for industrial growth areas of the province due to its vast resources and services.
