Bataan to use hotels for frontliners

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Bataan Gov. Albert Garcia signed up last week with hotel owners in the province for the comfort stay of doctors, nurses and other hospital workers. Garcia said frontliners composed of 280 doctors, nurses, nursing attendants and other health workers swill now have a comfortable cubicle in six hotels in Balanga City.

The governor made an arrangement with hotel owners following the reported discrimination of frontliners in Balanga and Mariveles after their hospital duty. The aside from comfortable stay in hotels frontliners are given free foods and other provisions from the provincial government of Bataan.

Last week, more than 40 hospital workers who were expose to infected patients were test positive for covid-19. Most of them, reports said, sleep in the hospital.
