BPSU holds earthquake drill

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) held an earthquake drill as part of the University’s disaster preparedness program on Wednesday.
Faculty members, personnel and students in all colleges in the main campus participated, said Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Services OIC Charina Cayanan.
BPSU President Dr. Greg Rodis said, “A day before the earthquake drill, we conducted fire fighting skills training in all six campuses”.
Cayanan said their partners in the earthquake drill are BFP, Balanga CDRRMO, PNP, DILG, and radio group REACT.
Through the leadership of Rodis, BPSU is continuously strengthening its emergency, disaster and other untoward incidents preparedness.
A week ago, the University signed a memorandum of agreement (MOA) with the Office of Civil Defense 3. BPSU also has an existing partnership with the National Resilience Council.
