BPSU Research Development Office holds Stakeholders’ Consultation

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Research Development Office conducted one-day Stakeholders’ Consultation aiming to align university researches to the need of the community held here on Tuesday.
“What are the researchable areas of the various sectors here in our community? That is why we are holding this consultation with you to know the answer”, BPSU President Dr. Greg Rodis told participants in the consultation that included representatives from LGUS, agrarian sector, health sector, cooperatives, academe, fisherfolks, workers, and small and medium enterprises.
“The researches we are doing in BPSU will mean nothing if not adopted in the community”, he pointed out.
“We have to help each other for the improvement of our community”, he urged.
BPSU Research Development Office Director Dr. Hermogenes Paguia echoed the university president, “Researches have no meaning if not used and not able to help”.
“We are doing resetting of researches at RDO, we conduct this consultation so that we will know directly from you what you need”, he added.
“This is the advocacy of BPSU, to help the community”, he also said.
Experts were also invited as resource speakers in the consultation including a researcher from DOST.
Under the directorship of Paguia, RDO becomes one of the dynamic offices of the university.
