ORANI, Bataan – Congresswoman Geraldine B. Roman of the 1st congressional district of Bataan on Thursday led the graduation rites of 59 beneficiaries of Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) technical courses at the Bulwagang Pangkabuhayan at her official residence in this first-class town.
The graduates came from Roman’s district that comprises the municipalities of Morong, Abucay, Samal, Orani, Dinalupihan and Hermosa who finished dressmaking and welding courses.
Former congresswoman and founder of Kababaihan ng Bataan para sa Kaunlaran (KABAKA), Herminia B. Roman, was also present during the occasion.
“Do not waste this opportunity to improve your lives, your success depends on your determination and discipline,” Congresswoman Roman told the graduates.
Roman also offered the possibility for their products to be featured in the incoming Congressional Trade Fair this November.
During the said event, 50 sewing machines and 30 welding machines were distributed to the beneficiaries.
In the morning of the same day, Congresswoman Roman distributed school supplies to 217 SPED students.
