BAGAC, Bataan – The uncontested ascendancy of the Garcia family in the local political scenario manifests the maturity of the electorate to recognize performance and good governance as the foundation of devoted public service.
Nick S. Ancheta, Bagac municipal administrator and respected political strategist observed the meteoric rise of the Garcia siblings headed by re-electionist governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia; Balanga city mayor Jose Enrique lll as representative-elect of the second congressional district of Bataan; re-electionist Dinalupihan town mayor Maria Angela and Balanga city mayor –elect Francis.
Ancheta said the exemplary performance and achievements as outstanding solon and Bataan governor of Garcia patriarch, Representative Enrique T. Garcia, Jr. now vice governor-elect, catapulted his children to stick to his vision of spreading the fruit of economic development to the countryside.
Ancheta, a former opinion writer and college editor, said the province’s significant economic growth resulted from the trust and confidence of the local and foreign investors to the political leadership for providing attractive incentives, good infrastructure facilities, power supply, communication network and abundant highly-technical and professionally-qualified labor force.
He expressed his admiration to Congressman Tet Garcia for instigating a valuable groundwork to achieve socio-economic prosperity through good governance.
The unprecedented political atmosphere is the first of its kind in the history of the province which reportedly is due to the Grand Old Man of Bataan politics’ good performance, socio-economic growth, free quality college education, job opportunities, health services, food security and other infrastructure and power development programs which encourage locators and investors to the province’s six economic zones, Ancheta added.
