BALANGA CITY—The Central Luzon Health Research and Development Consortium (CLHRDC) provides financial assistance to institutions conducting health research.
Wilma Banaban Tumaliuan, Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) Associate Director for Research and CLHRDC member of Utilization and Communication Committee, said they can provide fund on research study about health conducted by educational institutions.
She added they are also helping health inventions obtain patent.
She shared that her school BPSU is in fact helping local inventions to be patented to rightful inventors.
Tumaliuan divulged that they are currently aiming to attract other institutions in the region to expand their membership.
She said they have currently 18 members in the region including Holy Angel University.
“We are encouraging other institutions to join our consortium”, she said.
“Here in the province in Bataan, we are enticing educational institutions to be part of CLHRDC”, she added.
The regional consortium is conducting health research activities.
