Job fair provides better opportunities

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The City government, in partnership with the largest super mall in this historic peninsula, Vista Mall-Bataan, held a Job Fair yesterday dubbed as “Handog Kaarawan Trabaho sa Bayan”.

Ms. Leilani Reynoso, Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) Provincial Director, welcomed all employers and job applicants hoping for the applicants to get the job they applied for in a month’s time and this job fair is a partnership from both the business sector and job seekers.

Ms. Nelin O. Cabahug, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI provincial director, is  excited by the positive responses from job seekers which shows the competency of local job applicants to submit the requirements  required by various offices and firms and keenly appreciated working abroad.

The job fair is the outcome of the initiative of the local government executive, Mayor Francis Garcia, to explore all possible systematic scenarios that would provide greater opportunities to the residents of the City.

City Councilor Joroscel Panganiban, Chairperson on Trade and Industry, Labor and Manpower, is happy about the staging a Job Fair which is a major event for the benefit of the applicants and employers.

She is expecting a productive output for this activity and positively hoping for applicants to get their awaited jobs and for those who prefer to start-up a business, DTI has a program called “Negosyo Center”.
