Let’s support 1M41B challenge!

PILAR, Bataan – Several groups from the government and non-government organizations have been organizing tree planting activities in support of the 1 Million trees for 1Bataan (1M41B) Challenge, an environmental protection project of the Provincial Government of Bataan spearheaded by Governor Abet Garcia.
Today, October 22, the Provincial Engineering Office (PEO), the Bataan Shooters Club (BATAS), and our very own Bataan Risers Basketball Team had a tree planting activity at the Mt. Samat Firing Range and Zipline at Barangay Diwa, in this municipality. The General Manager of the Metro Bataan Development Authority (MBDA) Charlie Pizarro led the said activity.
They planted trees along the way to the Zipline and around the Mt. Samat Firing Range. The Bataan Risers Basketball Team headed by Coach Jojo “Jolas” Lastimosa enjoyed planting trees and said, “It is important to take care of our environment. That’s why our players at the Bataan Risers and also the Coaching Staff support this project of Governor Abet which is the 1 Million Trees for 1 Bataan”.
GM Pizarro also gave the Bataan Risers Basketball Team and its coaching staff the chance to experience how to shoot a 9mm and Caliber 45 Gun. The players and coaches enjoyed the experience and said that they are coming back.
