Metro-Manila land developers see bright business prospect in Bataan town

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Several land developers are expecting more productive investment opportunities to construct retirement villages, medium and high end housing facilities and other recreational amenities to the coastal town of Bagac, one of the premier tourist destinations in Central Luzon.
Nicanor S. Ancheta, Bagac municipal administrator, has received numerous inquiries from real estate brokerage firms about the historical town’s comprehensive economic development action plan and Manila-based businessmen have expressed their enthusiasm with the good tourism outlook of the town, one of the two municipalities in Bataan, known as the starting points of infamous Death March, the other is Mariveles, and directly benefitted by the establishment of San Miguel Special Economic Zone
Ancheta, a former student leader, explained the report of the Department of Tourism (DOT) in Region 3 to Mayor Louise Gabriel del Rosario that more than 700,000 registered local and foreign tourists visited yearly the 20 beach resorts, friendship tower, battle site markers and alluring ecological tourism sites along the Bataan mountain range.
He said the registered number of tourists both local and foreign reflects the magnitude of countless attractions of the largest town of Bataan reportedly amazed by the rising number of Metro Manila-based entrepreneurs who showed their willingness to contribute in the eco-tourism development programs of the town.
With this unparalleled investment scenario, the establishments of housing projects and resorts would augment the dynamic growth of local tourism industry and visitors take pleasure on local delicacies anytime while they view the panoramic and fantastic beauty of West Philippine Sea in Bagac, Ancheta added.
