CAPITOL COMPOUND, Bataan – The fire that almost razed to the ground the Land Registration Authority (LRA) building in this province on the 19th of November in 2013 did not hinder said office from performing its day to day tasks. For a little less than two years, it’s business as usual for the clients and employees, never mind if about 6 to 7 employees, cramped in a small room at the second floor, are attending to about a hundred clients daily.
This morning, that scenario will forever be a thing of the past. The blessing of the newly renovated RD building and extension office, officiated by Rev. Fr. Noel Nuguid of the Divine Mercy Parish, was attended by local government officials led by Gov. Abet S. Garcia who delivered an inspirational message.
The guests, headed by LRA Administrator Hon. Eulalio C. Diaz III; LRA Deputy Administrator Ronald Artile; Registrar of Deeds of Bulacan, Zambales, Canabatuan, Tarlac and Pampanga; Prov’l. Agrarian Reform Officer Engr. Eric San Ruiz; Provincial Director (PNP) Rhodel Sermonia; MBDA Chairman Charlie Pizarro; Orion Mayor Tony Pep Raymundo, Prov’l. Engineering Office head, Engr. Enrico Yuzon; Provincial Assessor head, Engr. Ricky Herrera; and LTO Bataan chief, Ronald S. Dabu among others were warmly welcomed by Bataan Registrar of Deeds, Atty. Amante R. Capuchino.
The funds for the renovation that started December of 2014 were from the insurance of the Land Registration System Incorporation and the LRA. The extension office was thru the efforts of Gov. Abet S. Garcia.
Atty. Capuchino and his staff are all thankful and looking forward to delivering more improved and efficient services to the public.
