Sidhay Coop to undertake study of coastal land for tourism industry

BALANGA CITY, Bataan- A retired United States Navy serviceman is offering to one of the profitable multi-purpose cooperatives in the province to invest in lucrative travel and tourism industry in the coastal village in Bagac.
Mr. Lito Mallari who owns several parcel of lands along the seacoast of Bagac, has made an offer to the officials of Sidhay Bataan National High School (BNHS) Multi-purpose Cooperatives during the seminar-workshop held recently. He rationalized the logical and strategic location which is viable for the establishment of small and medium tourist spot .
Mr. Mallari explained that the provincial government headed by Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia and Bagac Mayor Louise Gabriel del Rosario have earmarked infrastructure funds to provide better service to the public and visitors to the popular tourist destination in Central Luzon.
Some facilities and services of Sidhay Multi-Purpose Cooperatives would contribute to the expansion of business activities within the coastal town.
He pointed out that Bagac has the largest land area in Bataan, facing the majestic West Philippine Sea where the world-renowned Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar Heritage Resort and the Friendship Tower, are situated in addition to other attractions such as the long stretch of coastal areas with pristine waters.
Bagac town has three resorts with – internationally standard hotels, high-end housing projects and pension houses for local and foreign retirees.
