Subic Bay eyes for more cruise ship arrivals

SUBIC, Zambales – Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce in partnership with Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) and its members and investors held the 13th State of the Freeport Address 2019 held at Segara Grand Pavillion, Global Industrial Park, Subic Bay Freeport Zone, March 6.
Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) President Ma. Alegria Limjoco welcomed the incoming officers and the outgoing officers of the Subic Bay Freeport Chamber of Commerce (SBFCC) as well as the people behind the organization. “Everyone should work together in order to achieve goals not only to SBFCC but also to our country,” she added.
Governor Albert Garcia together with Hermosa Mayor Jopet Inton and Freeport Area of Bataan Chairman as one of its partners attended the said event. Subic Bay Metropolitan Authority (SBMA) Chairperson Atty. Wilma Esma presented the 2018 accomplishment reports along with the upcoming projects for 2019. She discussed that in 2019 various business and infrastracture development await Subic Bay most especially with its tourism due to an increase in cruise ships arrivals. “Once the cruise ships arrive here in Subic Bay, my dear investors, you’ll be overwhelmed because of various job opportunities coming to you,” She emphasized.
