BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Many entrepreneurs are hesitant to start a business
thinking that it might just eventually fail.
Mr. Paulo Tibig, President of VCargo and member of the PCE Angelpreneurs, one of the speakers on the topic, Mind Setting and Value Formation said that, FEAR can thrive in the mind of entrepreneurs if they will give a space for it. Instead, Tibig said that Fear can be managed if only they will explore and discover their entrepreneurial potentials.
Budding entrepreneurs nowadays, Tibig added, are very lucky to have been introduced to these free programs of the government starting from the convenient venues, food and lectures/discussions handled by competent mentors, who are experts in the different business areas.
Unlike in our case before, Tibig mentioned, that starting a business then was just like “tsamba” (chances), you fail and learn, that one needs to study on his own to survive and sustain his business.

Today, it is no longer a guessing game, because one can start a business in the right direction; thanks to the Kapatid Mentor Me (KMMe) program of the
government, thru the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), it works on encouraging entrepreneurs to become mindful of their part in a continuing economic growth.

Meanwhile, DTI Provincial Director Nelin Cabahug said that all interested entrepreneurs are now being assisted by DTI to have good business sense
to sharpen their business acumen with the necessary effective business management, hence she added that the tone,”survival and sustainable”
simply means that the entrepreneurs no longer need to struggle to survive in starting a business, with the help of the government, DTI will assist them
thru capacity building interventions, access to technology, trainings, seminars,
matching and other exercises that are directed to support the goal of their enterprise, because the KMME is anchored on the objective of assisting MSEs in scaling up and sustaining their operations with the needed skills set in the course of theoretical discussions, lectures, mentoring and coaching.
