Mariveles Councilor Ronald Arcenal showed his support to Gilas Alas-asin basketball team from Barangay Alas-asin currently competing in the Northern B-League U17 Young Guns Cup championship.
The Alas-asin team is against Guagua Hoopers for the top trophy. The councilor provided vehicle for the supporters who went to root for Gilas Alas-asin at Guagua National College Covered Court on September 16. “Nag-sponsor po si Konsehal Ronald Arcenal ng sasakyan ng ibang mga taga- Alas-asin na sumuporta at nanood ng unang laban ng Gilas Alas-asin para po sa championship laban sa Guagua Hoopers na ginanap sa Pampanga. Kaya lubos po ang pasasalamat ng mga nakasama at nakapanood ng unang laban”, said Alas-asin resident and team supporter Pams Montecarlo. The second of the best of three championship games is on Saturday September 23 also at GNC Covered Court.
