Bataan sees peaceful elections on May 13

CITY of BALANGA, Bataan – Through the joint initiative of the Bataan Provincial Police Office and the Commission on Election, the 4th Provincial Joint Security Command Center meeting, in line with the upcoming National and Local Elections on May 13 was held this morning at the Camp Cirilo Tolentino, this city.
Present in the said meeting were local and national media, election officers of each municipality, Bataan Provincial Police Office, Provincial Commission on Election, and representatives of the Provincial Government of Bataan. Commission on Election (COMELEC) representative presented updates, previous, and upcoming events regarding the election. Hermosa Election Officer presented the COMELEC Resolution No. 10507 which states the guidelines for mass media accreditation for the national and local elections.
Media practitioners, whether foreign, local or national media, applying for accreditation shall submit general requirements such as fully accomplished accredited media form, recent photo and an endorsement letter.
COMELEC and Bataan Provincial Police Office see a peaceful election in full cooperation of everyone this coming May 13.
