Founders of Bridges Autism App, a free mobile application supporting individuals with autism and other neurodiverse conditions, paid a courtesy visit to Vice Governor Cris Garcia on Friday, November 7.
Ryan and Rio Pomer, the couple behind the innovative app, presented their advocacy to Vice Governor Garcia with the hope of launching the app in their hometown of Bataan. Bridges is designed to empower parents and guardians by providing accessible, guided home-based therapy using everyday household items.
The app was developed with the expertise of a dedicated team, including licensed occupational therapists, speech therapists, and special education (SPED) teachers, ensuring professional guidance for families navigating neurodiverse conditions.
Vice Governor Garcia expressed her support for the initiative and expressed interest in tapping other provincial government offices and agencies to expand the app’s reach and maximize its impact on the local community.
With Bridges, the Pomers aim to create an inclusive, accessible resource that empowers families while promoting awareness and understanding of neurodiversity in Bataan and beyond.
