DILG launches #DisiplinaMuna in Bataan

CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan – The Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Bataan in partnership with the Provincial Government of Bataan (PGB) launched the #DisiplinaMuna national advocacy campaign in compliance with Executive Order No. 24, s. 2017 that aims to promote the culture of discipline among Filipinos held at Bataan People’s Center, today, February 17.

The DILG was assigned by the President Rodrigo Duterte as the chairman in Participatory Governance Cluster of the Cabinet (PGC) that shall exert all efforts to enhance citizen participation in government processes. The campaign is anchored on the Philippine Development Plan (PDP) 2017-2022 which aims to have an inclusive growth and by ensuring people-centered governance towards Ambisyon Natin 2040 that envisions a matatag, maginhawa, at panatag na buhay para sa lahat. As part of the PGB’s response in the said campaign, Provincial Governor’s Office Head, Mr. Geoffrey Loyola led the pledge of commitment for the #DisiplinaMuna campaign and commit to recite the Disiplina Muna pledge every flag raising ceremony.

The general hashtag for the Disiplina Muna campaign, #DisiplinaMuna to be used in all social media posts in the official accounts or pages of different Local Government Units (LGUs), DILG offices, and attached agencies. It also shall be mentioned in press releases (PRs) and infographics as well as advertisements. #DisiplinaMuna campaign is composed of 7 pillars namely; Road clearing, Disaster preparedness and resilience, Anti-smoking, Ease of doing business, Liquor ban, Tourist spots clean up, and a Functional Barangay Anti-drug Abuse Council (BADAC).
