FAB positions as a hub for digital technology

The Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) is carving a niche like the province of Bataan, as an emerging hub for digital technology and innovation.

AFAB recently joined the two-day Global Emerging Tech Summit (GETS) 2025 held in Balanga City. With the theme “Driving Innovation Through Digital Bayanihan,” the summit brings together industry leaders and innovators to strengthen collaboration in emerging technologies such as blockchain, artificial intelligence, and the metaverse.

It was organized by the Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT), the Provincial Government of Bataan with the cooperation of  Blockchain Council of the Philippines (BCP), and Philippine Blockchain Week (PBW).

AFAB underscored its strong vision for continued digital transformation and technology-driven growth.
