Gov. Garcia supports GIP grads

Bataan Gov. Joet Garcia congratulated the 121 beneficiaries of Government Internship Program (GIP) during their graduation last December 5 where he vowed to continue his support for them.

The GIP is a program of the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) where the youth are given a chance to work temporarily at a government office to gain experience before landing a permanent job.

The GIP is under the supervision of Public Employment Service Office (PESO) Manager Maria Eva Basalo and DOLE Bataan Officer-in-Charge Provincial Director Antonio Sicat, Jr.

The governor told the graduates: “Umaasa po ang inyong lingkod na makatutulong ang inyong naging karanasan sa GIP program upang maging mas maganda ang inyong kinabukasan.”

He added that the Provincial Government of Bataan “will continue to support your goal to achieve gainful employment.”
