Lambat Sibat Volunteer program launched

CAMP TOLENTINO, Balanga City, Bataan – The Bataan Provincial Police Office (BPPO) led by P/Senior Supt. Rhodel Sermonia and PNP Directorate for Intelligence, P/Dir. Generoso R. Cerbo Jr. graced the first-ever formal launching and mass oath-taking of the Lambat Sibat Volunteer Program (LSVP) in PRO3 on Tuesday, December 29, 2015, held at the BPPO provincial headquarters covered court based here.

P/Dir. Cerbo initiated this program in line with the SOP Lambat Sibat Program of the Secretary of the Interior Local Government, hence, the newly sworn volunteers will now serve as a vigilant and reliable partners of the PNP in addressing criminality through the said program.

The said event was also graced by Central Luzon Police Director, P/C. Supt. Rudy G. Lacadin, Provincial/City Directors of different PPOs/CPO, Metro Bataan Development Authority General Manager Charlie Pizarro, Samal town mayor Generosa dela Fuente, council members of the different municipalities of Bataan, barangay officials, other respected NGOs and force multipliers.

The 1, 400 LSVP also received their respective Lambat Sibat Volunteer IDs.

PD Sermonia was elated for the successful turn-out of the launching of the LSVP. He expressed his appreciation and thanks to PDIR CERBO for supporting the said activity. Likewise, he encouraged all the LSVP members to continue supporting the Bataan PNP in its fight against criminality and its mission in achieving and maintaining the Peace and Order situation in the province of Bataan.
