Local residents need not go abroad to seek gainful employment to support their families because job opportunities will soon be available locally, according to Dinalupihan Mayor Maria Angela Garcia.
The lady mayor was speaking to welcome guests during Wednesday’s grand launching of Dinalupihan Woodlands Economic Zone (DWEZ) in Barangay Pinulot, Dinalupihan, Bataan.
She said job opportunities are awaiting at the first extension site of the Freeport Area of Bataan (FAB). About 100,000 job will be generated by the DWEZ in the next five years.
Some of DWEZ partners include 1Bataan Agro Inno-Tech Corp., Serendib, Sinosun, The Medical Hub, Dinalupihan Green Energy, Inc., and Green Madison.
The new economic zone is located in the sloppy 43.77-hectare land in Barangay Pinulot with more than 5,000 residents.
