As part of government’s greening program the Municipal Government of Morong, Bataan led by Mayor Cynthia L. Estanislao held last Thursday a tree planting activity just at the back of Bataan Technology Park, Inc. (BTPI) in Barangay Mabayo.
Mayor Estanislao said the tree planting activity which is important for all will become a regular task for Morong folks and local government employees. “Layunin nito na makatulong upang labanan ang climate change at mapigilan ang global warming,” the mayor physician said.
Morong Vice Mayor Leila Linao-Munoz, Sangguniang Bayan members, municipal employees and workers of attached agencies joined said activity. Hundreds of narra, mahogany, and fire trees were planted in the said area.
