The University of Nueva Caceres (UNC) Bataan is offering TESDA short courses.
Felicito Payumo, president of UNC Bataan, said just recently 21 scholars graduated with the course Food and Beverages.
“Cong. Geraldine Roman provided fund for the scholarship of the graduates. She personally attended the graduation”, the former Bataan first district congressman and SBMA chairman said.
“The congresswoman has vowed to give more funding for TESDA scholarship at UNC Bataan”, he said.
“With the short TESDA courses, we can help poor Bataan students gain skills they can use to earn a living”, Payumo said.
Other TESDA courses offered at UNC Bataan are Shielded Metal Arc Welding, Computer Hardware and Servicing, Pipe Fitting, Agricultural Crop Production, and Electrical Maintenance and Installation.
