BALANGA CITY, Bataan – One hundred two trainees from different towns of the province here will be flying to Nagano, Japan next year for an agricultural job.
This was revealed today by Mr. Melchor Cui, Provincial Chief of the Public Employment Service Office (PESO). Cui said they started their first batch of recruitment last September 23 and 24, 2016 held at the BPSU Main Campus in this component city.
The applicants chosen were males who are presently engaged in farming, at least high school graduates aged 20-32 years old, no body tattoos and at least 5 feet 3 inches or 160 meters in height.
Their contract signing was held today, November 10 at the BPSU main campus. Cui added that they will also be given a training on Nippongo or Japanese language that will start on December 5 of this year.
The Nagano, Japan bound trainees on March 2017 will be employed/trained for 8 months with $700 monthly allowance.
Nagano Prefecture (province) is located in the northern part near the confluence of the Chikuma and the Sai rivers, on the main Japanese island of Honshū.
Cui said the recruitment of the next batch of trainees is yet to be announced. The recruitment was made possible thru the help of the Provincial Agriculture Office, PCEDO, and all the PESO offices in all towns of the province.
