The newly opened City Library which completed the Spanish-themed activity center here wowed even the richest senator in the Philippines, declaring Balanga can vie for the title most beautiful city in the country.
“I was really surprised. I have for a long time a high regard for Mayor [Joet Garcia and Governor Albert Garcia]. Now, my admiration really overflowed,” said former Senator Manny Villar who led the recent opening of the modern library and 48 Jet Fountain.
