CAPITOL COMPOUND, Bataan – In his earnest desire to alleviate the devastating effect of Typhoon Glenda to the affected residents, as early as July 16, Governor Abet Garcia immediately ordered the distribution of relief goods through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office headed by Mrs. Marilyn Tigas to the people affected by Typhoon Glenda. Former Pilar Mayor, Charlie Pizarro, now MBDA Chairman is also closely coordinating the operations together with PNP personnel and respective barangay officials.

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Mrs. Azucena Sugatain, Head of the Bataan Cooperative Development Office, together with her staff received the much sought after CDA Gawad Parangal for Most Outstanding Local Government Unit in Region 3. Though there are existing awards and recognition given by other cooperative promoting institutions, this award given by the cooperative government regulatory agency, is something that cooperatives will treasure.

AFAB investment pledges surge to over P83.96bn in H1

MARIVELES, Bataan – The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) generated nearly Php83.96 billion in committed investments in the first half of 2014, over 138,000 percent higher compared to the pledges that it recorded in the same period last year.

The AFAB attracted a total of Php83,958,505,566.00 worth of projects from January to June this year, exceeding its Php60,550,00.00 investment portfolio in the same six-month period in 2013.
