Let us set aside negativism….Gov. Abet

PROVINCIAL CAPITOL, Bataan – Citing a great world leader, Gov. Abet S. Garcia urged capitol employees Monday to set aside negativism to attain better results in their daily work.

Speaking during Monday’s flag raising ceremony, the governor said that the year 2015 had ended and that “we should buckle down to work to better serve the public.” He also told the provincial government employees that negative thinking does not work well and that all the negativism that occurred in the past years should now be set aside and work for a better 2016.

Citing South African leader Nelson Mandela who was jailed for more than 30 years by his political foes, Garcia said that despite being incarcerated for 30 years, Mandela did not resort to getting back at his political opponents, and chose to be positive instead when he was elected president of his country.

Right after winning in the 2013 gubernatorial election, Gov. Garcia offered an olive branch to his political foes, earning further the respect of his constituents.
