BIR reminds public on tax deadline

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Officials of the Bataan Revenue District Office 20 has reminded the public to pay their taxes as the deadline for payment is on April 15.

Led by their Revenue District Officer Atty Vicky Reinante, the BIR’s tax campaign is to increase tax collection in the province as they appealed to tax payers to do their share in building the nation by paying their right taxes promptly.

To remind the public, streamers bearing BIR’s theme such as RFP or “Register, File, Pay,” are posted in the streets and many establishments said Gemo Espinosa, BIR administrative officer, as they appealed to public to meet the deadline in paying their taxes.

The two BIR officials urged taxpaying public to do their share in nation building by paying taxes promptly and correctly. Atty. Reinante has expressed optimism regarding tax collection in the province for the year 2016.
