ABUCAY, Bataan – The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI Bataan) formally launched today the Shared Service Facility (SSF) project for Alyansa ng Kababaihang Nagmamahal sa Abucay (ANA) at the Abucay Livelihood and Training Center.
DTI-Bataan OIC-provincial director Nelin Cabahug and municipal administrator Herbert Vianzon led the formal turnover of a candle making machine, materials and tools worth P168,000.
Lina Siongco, one of the founders of ANA, said the project will help them augment their production of candles being supplied in major grocery stores in the province.
Cabahug said the project is DTI’s second SSF for this year. The next project will be for the Mabatang broom makers.
The said women’s group is composed of 80 members, 20 of them serve as the core group that manages their major activities.
The DTI official also announced that a Negosyo Center will soon rise in this town.
