SSS conducts media forum in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan -The Social Security System (SSS) conducted media forum here on Thursday aiming to further inform the public of its programs.

Agency officers VP Marissu G. Bugante, Public Affairs and Special Events Division; VP Vilma Agapito, Luzon Central I Division; AVP Ma. Luisa Sebastian, Media Affairs Department; Balanga SSS Branch Head Joel Villafuerte; and Mariveles SSS Branch Head Jordan Herrera headed the discussion and the answering of questions from the local media.

Villafuerte discussed the vetoed P2000 pension increase. On the other hand, Herrera discussed corporate updates and the Loan Restructuring Program. Balanga Assistant Branch Head Elizabeth Gabon discussed the value of SSS membership.

The SSS officials urged the Bataan media to help them in reaching more people. Bataan-based media men who attended the forum included Ernie Esconde of GMA 7, Raffy Viray of the Philippine Star, Greg Refraccion  of PDI, Mar Supnad of Manila Bulletin, Marivic Alvarez of DZRH, JM Garcia of PIA, NET 25 reporters,  1Bataan staff, and this writer, among others.
