Garcia pushes for high school for the arts in Bataan

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – First-time Bataan 2^nd District Representative Joet Garcia has updated local press on the bills he filed at the House of Representatives.

He said he has filed House Bill 4463 to create the Bataan High School for the Arts. He said the bill was lodged August 17, 2016.

In his media briefing, he presented the 9 house bills he has filed in Congress. The solon divulged that still some of his proposed bills are still being drafted such as the Institutionalization of the Seal of Good Local Governance, Institutionalization of Community Based Management System, Implementation of the Situs of Taxation, and Inclusion of Computer Science in the K+12 Curriculum.

Garcia is presently the House Assistant Majority Leader on Rules, and Vice Chairperson of House Committee on Energy and the House Committee of Health. He is also a member of various House committees such as the Committee of Appropriations, Basic Education and Culture, Economic Affairs, Higher and Technical Educations, Housing and Urban Development, Small Business and Entrepreneurship Development Tourism, Travel and Industry, and Ways and Means.
