BALANGA CITY, Bataan- Police authorities here have initiated shared and protective anti-crime measures to safeguard the interest and welfare of local and foreign investors in Bataan peninsula which is considered one of the safest places in the country.
Senior Superintendent Benjamin H. Silo,Jr. , Bataan newly-designated police provincial director ,said Bataan Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia and other local city and municipal officials had undertaken strategic development programs to encourage locators in the province which is now recognized as one of the emerging investments hub in Central Luzon.
Silo explained that Police Chief Superintendent AaRon Aquino, regional director of PNP in Central Luzon in an exclusive interview recently in Camp Olivas, Pampanga has extolled the best practices in the war against prohibited drugs in Bataan.
Aquino said he was really amazed with the exceptional performance of the Bataan Police Provincial Office (BPPO) and the persistent and progressive teamwork with the dynamic Governor Garcia to attain their ultimate objectives of making Bataan a truly conducive business destination in the country.
The provincial director has narrated that four to five crime incidents daily are merely classified as road accidents with the continuing big volume of vehicles using the 54- kilometer Bataan Expressway connecting Layac , Dinalupihan town to coastal village of Cabcaben, Mariveles town.
Silo added the police station commanders were instructed to synchronize their functions, protection and safety, with the prospective investors , locators and communities by providing them effective and efficient police crime operation techniques.
