1st Bataan car display held

CITY OF BALANGA, Bataan – Organized by the Bataan Auto Enthusiasts (BAE), the 1^st Bataan Car Display was held at the Capitol Compound last Saturday, March 18, showcasing different vintage and high-end cars owned by Bataeños.

Around 100 car owners from all over the province joined the pioneer car display that started from 3:00 in the afternoon and lasted up to 8:30 in the evening. Participants paid a registration fee in order to join the event.

Proceeds of the event will be used to purchase computer units which will be turned over to the Multi-Sectoral Governance Coalition (MSGC) who will in turn donate said units to different barangays.

BAE was formed early 2016 by different car clubs of Bataan such as Team Bataaneos (founded 1997) headed by Mr. Dennis Rivero.  According to Mr. Erwin Oximoso, an active member of BAE, one of the aims of the car display is to create awareness among the public regarding the existence of their organization. He added that BAE would also like to help in the promotion of the province among tourists.
