The trek is not that hard and not that long but for sure you will sweat out, but once you reach the falls, it’s paradise! With all the trees serving as canopy, making the place really cool and the refreshing waters from the falls.
The personnel were divided into 4 groups, removing plastics and other non-biodegradable wastes, while others arranged the rocks, to have some area for swimming for children, some even used some chainsaw to clear the area of large trunks of trees that hinder the smooth flow of the water coming from the falls.
Sir Ed Cabigting, DENR Supervisor of the Bataan National Park shared to the group some trivia such as; 6 municipalities are covered by the Bataan National Park, they are the municipalities of Hermosa, Orani, Samal, Abucay, Bagac and Morong. Of the 56 waterfalls in it, only 24 have so far been documented, including about 29 lagoons.
