Cable cars to initiate tourism attraction in Mt. Samat

PILAR, Bataan – Mayor Alice Pizarro of this town, said in an interview, that the Mt. Samat Tourism Eco-Zone (TEZ) plan has been approved with some revisions.

She added that infrastructure are now being set in place, that she’s pushing the construction of cable cars at TEZ, not only as a mode of transportation in going up Mt. Samat Shrine but also to serve as an attraction for said eco-tourism area.

Mayor Alice also made it clear that the cable car will be constructed at the foot of Mt. Samat and is definitely different from the cable cars that people are saying to be put up at Vista Mall.

As early as now, Mayor Pizarro said that a lot of locators are already inquiring in her office as how to go about putting up their investment at said Eco-Tourism area. One of these, the good Mayor said, is a prestigious hotelier, who is interested to put up a hotel and restaurant in this historical shrine site.

On the part of the LGU, Mayor Alice Pizarro said that they will provide the work force for all the construction of infrastructure at the area (TEZ), creating job and livelihood opportunities for her constituents.
