BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Bataan 2nd Congressional District Representative Jose Enrique S. Garcia III has earmarked P 30 million for the acquisition of forty (40) multi-purpose vehicles to speed up delivery of basic services to the countryside.
Representative Garcia stressed in his speech before barangay officials and Kabalikat members in his district during the Congressional Barangay Day held recently at Vista Mall, this City that the newly-approved budgetary allocation for the procurement of L-300 utility transport vehicles would be awarded to the first batch, from the one hundred eleven barangays in southern Bataan, to submit their comprehensive 10-year master development plan.
In the same venue, Rep. Garcia expressed his gratitude to Rep. Karlo Nograles of the 1st district of Davao City for facilitating the approval of the budgetary provision which would further improve the performance of barangay officials who are in the forefront of public service. Nograles was the guest of honor during said event.
Rep.Garcia has emphasized the marvelous functions of barangay officials in overseeing the growth of their respective communities in the clear execution of socio-economic strategic thrusts in consonance with the vision of Governor Albert Raymond S. Garcia.
The barangay officials and all stakeholders should carefully evaluate the great eco-industrial potentials of the historic peninsula.
