‘Let us live the spirit of Christmas’

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – “Let us live the spirit of Christmas which is giving’
This was the Christmas message put across by City Mayor Francis Anthony Garcia during last Monday evening’s switch-on ceremony for the entirely new Christmas lights and decors at the Plaza Mayor de Balanga.
Garcia said the lighting of Christmas decorative lights in the Plaza Mayor de Balanga signifies a fresh start of a “new beginning” for the city government as well as the city folks since the Galeria Victoria caught fire last May 1.
“Let us join in rejoicing the start of the Christmas season with the switching on of our colorful Christmas lights,” said Garcia. His wife Rachel Garcia, president of Balanga City Tourism Council, profusely thanked the guests that included Consul Eduardo De Guzman, president of De Guzman Group of Companies.
Mrs. Garcia said: “Pinaghirapan po namin ang preparasyon sa gabing ito.Sana ma-appreciate nyo.”
