BALANGA CITY, Bataan – As the country celebrated a week ago Bonifacio Day, the National Grid Corporation of the Philippines (NGCP) likened its “maparaan” way, which the great Filipino hero also possessed.
“We honor Andres Bonifacio for his achievements, skills, and heart for the nation. In his desire to end three centuries of Spanish oppression, he founded the Katipunan in 1892 despite the poor resources he and his comrades had”, NGCP Corporate Communication Officer Fely Francisco narrated in an interview here.
“Similarly, NGCP’s desire to end the era of aging transmission facilities serves as its driving force to improve, expand, rehabilitate, and reinforce the nation’s power highway”, she also said.
“As a privately owned company, all available resources are on hand and ready to be utilized to deliver the best power transmission services to its customers”, she added.
NGCP is a Filipino-led, privately owned company in charge of operating, maintaining, and developing the country’s power grid.
