Basic Life Support with Bataan rescue and DPWH Staffs

The emergency response team from PDRRMO (provincial risk reduction management office) trains staff of DPWH (Department of public works and highways)  for basic life support and emergency assistance held at dpwh office (December 12-13 2013)

An 2 whole day long session on Emergency Life Support by a team led by Rommel Panopio Cherry Matias & JayAr Alarcon Donna Nisay and SGT.Adam Ragadio supported by other PDRRMO Rescue Teams

Rescue Team demonstrated the CPR, beginning with checking of pulse, clearing the air passage, giving chest compression at the rate of 100 per minute

Aim:
To save lives of adults, infants and children subjected to life threatening emergencies.

Objective:

• Learning knowledge and skills regarding:
• How to recognize and treat a life threatening emergencies, including cardiac arrest and choking in all age groups.
• To recognize the warning signs of heart attack and stroke in adults.
• To know signs of breathing difficulty in infants and children.
