MSGC Sensing Journey on 4p’s

    Gov. Abet S. Garcia warmly welcomed the members of the Multi-Sectoral Governance Coalition (MSGC) in their Sensing Journey and meeting with the Bataan Provincial Advisory Committee (PAC),which the Governor chairs. Mrs. Marilyn Tigas, PAC co chair and Provincial Social Welfare Development Officer (PSWDO) acknowledged the presence of the members of the delegation. The aim of the sensing journey is primarily to assess the implementation of the government’s flagship program in relation to poverty alleviation, the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps).  Zeroing in on sharing, learning and input exchange,  the Sensing Journey aims to identify potential areas of partnership and bring about appropriate changes in the implementation of the 4Ps.

    The heads of the different government agencies and other stakeholders presented their programs of activities, services and initiatives in support of the 4Ps. Among the members of the MSGC are celebrated broadcast journalist Tina-Monzon Palma and Rina Jimenez David. Together with the team from DSWD Regional Office III headed by Dir. Adelina Apostol and DSWD Central Office, the delegation will proceed to Dinalupihan where they will meet with the members of the Municipal Advisory Committee (MAC) headed by Mayor Gila S. Garcia. After Dinalupihan, the delegation will proceed to Olongapo City to meet some of the recipients of the 4Ps.
