Gov Abet , Mayor Joet sign Pledge of Commitment

After the welcome remarks of Mayor Joet Garcia, PDEA Director General Undersecretary Arturo G. Cacdac,Jr. delivered a really inspiring message underscoring the right track that Balanga and Bataan are taking, started by the smoke free policy of the City and now this fight against illegal drugs. He likewise discussed the Barangay Anti-drug Clearing Operation.

In his special message, Gov. Abet Garcia emphasized the importance of cooperation among all the stakeholders in eradicating this social menace.

Director Jeoffrey C. Tacio, PDEA Regional Director III after giving the audience an overview of the drug situation in the regional and national levels, also discussed the best practices on anti-drug abuse prevention

Audie de Mesa Atienza ( Bataan Drug Situation and Drug Link); DDB Vice Chairman, Undersecretary Rommel L. Garcia (Effects of Drug Abuse and Addiction); PDEA Legal and Prosecution Section Chief, Atty. Romina Grace Yadao ( Salient Features of RA 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002) and Bataan Drug Treatment & Rehabilitation Center Director, Dr. Elizabeth Serrano also on the Effects of Drug Abuse and Addiction..   

Top officials from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency, Dangerous Drugs Board, Philippine National Police, Provincial and City Government; Municipal Mayors; Department Heads; Barangay Officials; School Heads; student leaders; NGAs; NGOs and other stakeholders present signed a Pledge of Commitment after the Open Forum.
