Number of business registrants up in Balanga

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The number of business registrants in 2014 increased by 8.7 percent, compared to the year 2013 in this fast developing component city. Based on actual records gathered from the City’s Business Permit and Licensing Office (BPLO), a total of 3,731 business entities were registered in 2014, up by 8.7 percent from 3,406 in 2013.

Neil Erwin B. Dizon, Head of BPLO, said that the increase of business registrants here are due to the simplification of procedures and instant facilitation, and more importantly, the trust and confidence of the public and the business sectors to invest in Balanga city, dubbed by DILG Regional Director Florida Dijan as one of the most peaceful places in Central Luzon.

Dizon said that another innovation introduced recently by Mayor Joet S. Garcia is the streamlining of business process by approving it on line, saying “even if you are abroad, you can have your business permits approved without hassle.” “Maski on line ay pwede nang mag approve si Mayor Joet ng business permit ” pointed out Dizon.

Dizon further guaranteed that a safety feature is in place, wherein the genuine business permits being issued by the City cannot be faked nor copied.

Mayor Garcia assured that applications for business permits can be instantly approved, provided the applicant had already completed the requirements.
