JOB SUMMARY

An Occupational Health Personnel position whose main function is to provide occupational health services.

STATEMENT OF DUTIES

Give immediate temporary treatment in case of injury or illness, before the services of a physician becomes available;
If the case needs a physician the first-aider shall immediately call or refer the injured to one;
Participate in the maintenance of occupational safety and health
Programs;
Maintain medical services and facilities

BASIC RELATIONSHIP

Shall report directly to the employer. (Specify the Department and the Immediate Head’s position as per the organizational chart)

QUALIFICATIONS

A first-aider must be able to read and write and must have completed a course in first aid conducted by the Philippine National Red Cross or any organization accredited by the same.
