BAGAC, Bataan – Mayor Ramil del Rosario has revealed that the management of the Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar is amenable to undertake a lead role in the preparation of an integrated socio-economic development plan to hasten the thriving eco-tourism industry in the fast growing coastal town in the province.
Del Rosario spelled out several projects which would transform the historical site, one of the World War ll Death March starting points in Bataan, and world-class beach resorts into a significant educational and vacation spots in Central Luzon.
He said Jerry Acuzar, one of the country’s respected property developers and proprietor of Las Casas Filipinas de Acuzar, has suggested valuable information identifying places to be renovated and to create a progressive commercial district that would complement the world-class heritage resort.
Del Rosario stressed that the integrated socio-economic development program with representatives from various key sectors of the community would carry out a workable task of formulating a healthy tourism-oriented industry.
He added, with the fast growing tourism industry, investment promotion is absolutely necessary when focusing the genuine public and private partnership for the benefit of tourism industry which may become the principal source of revenue of the coastal town.
