BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Bataan Auto Enthusiasts (BAE), led by its president, Mr. Dennis Rivero, launched its first ever outreach program at the covered court of Brgy. Tortugas, this City, last December 3, 2016.

Established early thios year, BAE is composed of more than 800 car lovers of different brands like Toyota, Honda, Nissan, Mitsubishi, etc., from all over Bataan- from Mariveles to Dinalupihan.

“I think it is time for the group to be recognized not just as group of car lovers but as a group existing for a cause. That is why our group came up with this idea of bringing the real essence of Christmas through this outreach program,” shared Mr. Dennis Rivero, in his short yet inspiring message. At first, the group was just created to give in to their passion in car detailing and auto parts upgrading. Later, they came up with the advocacy of reaching out to the less privileged people to share their blessings and serve as an inspiration to others.

Guided by the true spirit of Christmas – which is sharing, BAE have chosen Brgy. Tortugas as their adopted community, in coordination with Brgy, Captain Rodolfo De Guzman and City Councilor Vic Baluyot.

Over 100 families received packed goods composed of grocery items as well as toys for the kids. BAE also conducted parlor games and gave away surprise gifts to the participants.

The following are some of the sponsors who helped make this activity a success: Hangout Bar and Grill, Jaicobe Shop Print and Design, Team FD, MVR Car Accessories, Proworx Car Restoration, AE Autoclub Bataan, Death March, Honda Club Bataan, Romaleine Café, M5 Auto Services, Chefs Le, Old School Car Club, Pride Crew, Pit Stop Carwash, MCE Repair Shop and Five A Emission Testing Center.

BAE’s Christmas Party and Thanksgiving immediately followed at Remedios Farm, Brgy. Central, also in this City.
