“Bata, dapat ay ligtas ka”

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – Anchored on the theme, “Bata, dapat ay ligtas ka”, the Provincial Government of Bataan through the Provincial Social Welfare and Development Office (PSWDO) and the Samahang Day Care Workers of Bataan, Inc. successfully held this morning the Provincial Children’s Congress  at the Lou-Is Resort, this City.

Participated in by the children development center pupils from the eleven (11) municipalities of Bataan, Day Care Workers and parents, the event started with a Parent Effectiveness Seminar wherein Mrs. Marilyn Tigas, PSWDO head, discussed the Rights of a Child and the ABC’s of Parenting.

The children showed their varied talents in the following contests: Calisthenics, Poem Recitation, Solo Singing and Color and Copy.

In the end the following emerged as provincial winners who will represent Bataan in the Regional congress to be held in Subic, later this year:
