Bataeño rules the Earth!

Myco, as his friends call him, is a 3rd year Hotel and Restaurant Management student in Bataan Peninsula State University.

This 19-year old lad from Dinalupihan, Bataan is not a first timer in joining pageantry. Since high school, he has been exposed to joining contests like that in his school and in his town.

Talking about the pageant, he said that they are not only tasked to focus on saving and loving Mother Earth but they will also focus on the empowerment of the youth because this pageant is not only about the looks, talents, and wit but it also dwells more on the character of the youth.

The said contest is divided into male and female categories. Both include awards for Mister/Miss Philippine Youth Earth, Globe, World, and International.

Going hand in hand with their victory, Myco and the other winners received different perks as well as responsibilities. Some of which are as follows: joining different outreach programs, being under a modeling agency, and receiving tokens like clothes, perfumes, watches, and many more.

He mentioned that his inspiration in joining pageants is his family. He believes that pageantry is a big stepping-stone in uplifting the lives of people. Also, he admitted that joining contests like this is really his passion.

Myco also shared what he learned throughout his journey, that they are taught how to be responsible in their actions, how to be trusted with confidential matters, and how to improve their personalities.

Now that bigger responsibilities are on his hands, he was assured that he will continue his schooling on weekdays and workshops are to be attended on weekends because the agency really gives importance to education.
