CinemArriba 2017 films premiered, awarded

BALANGA CITY, Bataan – CinemArriba 2017, Letran Bataan’s short film fair, opened the event with the premiere showing and awarding of the entries last March 18, 2017 at the Vista Mall Cinemas.

The two films that competed in the said event are: ‘Deadline’ directed by Mar Jay Delas Alas and produced by Cinequatro Productions and ‘Andy & James’ directed by Aubrey Buena and produced by Detritus Productions. These films were directed and produced by 4^th year Communication students.

Prejudged by selected panelists from Letran Bataan and 1Bataan on March 16, these were the results:

Best in Screenplay: Mark Jvnz Montero (‘Deadline’, Cinequatro Productions)

Best in Cinematography: Andy & James (Detritus Productions)

Best Editing: Gian Rabago (‘Deadline’, Cinequatro Productions)

Best Acting of an Ensemble: Deadline (Cinequatro Productions)

Best Actor: Francis Caraig (‘Andy & James’, Detritus Productions)

Best Actress: Fahren Suaberon (‘Deadline’, Cinequatro Productions)

Best in Production Design: Deadline (Cinequatro Productions)

Best Director: Mar Jay Delas Alas (‘Deadline’, Cinequatro Productions)

Best Film: Deadline (Cinequatro Productions)
