BALANGA CITY, Bataan – The Commission on Election (Comelec) Balanga and the Bataan Peninsula State University (BPSU) tied up for the mobile voters’ registration in this city.
Balanga City Election Officer Melanio Sibayan said mobile voters’ registration was conducted the whole day at the BPSU Balanga Campus last Wednesday, and at the BPSU Main Campus last Friday.
The BPSU Main Campus is located at the capitol complex this city. BPSU is the biggest tertiary school in the province.
Sibayan profusely thanked BPSU President Greg Rodis for supporting the mobile voters’ registration undertaking of his office. He said they also conducted mobile voters’ registration to other campuses in this city.
The Comelec Balanga has been intensifying its campaign for the registration of voters. Sibayan said they have posted streamers in strategic areas in the city urging voters to register. “Registration of voters for the May 2016 elections is only until October 31”, he announced. He said those who want to register can go to their office at the capitol compound. “We are open until Saturday”, he added.
